"I opened Weekend in July 2008 realising a dream. I have always been passionate about creating stylish yet comfortable homes for my family and enjoyed the research required to do that (i.e. shopping!) It has only been a small step for me to help create a look for others. Weekend takes the hard work out of it for you - we have everything you need to achieve a sophisticated and practical home. We understand the need to be child and dog friendly (indeed there is a resident shop dog - a black lab called Meg) and will give you as much or as little help as needed. I offer an interior design service and am very happy to visit your home to work through ideas with you. However, Megan, my full time assistant, and myself will be equally delighted to see you if you are just browsing. Do come and visit us where you will be assured of a warm welcome."
